Blue Room

In science, blue room has been learning about organ systems and life cycles. All of the students participated in making life cycle posters to show what they have learned specifically about the topic. Blue room has also been learning about sound and how it works. Experiments are planned for the near future!

In social studies, blue room has been learning about Native Americans and wrote paragraphs about a Native American tribe that they chose to research by reading books about different tribes. Blue Room also read about the Northwest Territory and the war of 1812.

Blue room has been working on reading some chapter books. Two students are completing a unit on the book “Among the Hidden” by Margaret Peterson Haddix. Another student has been working on some unit activities for the book “Magic Tree House #23: Twister on Tuesday” by Mary Pope Osborne. Some students have been improving sight word knowledge by playing a popcorn sight word game.
