The Orange room has had a busy summer! We had two new additions to the classroom, C.F. and A.D. Both boys have transitioned well into the room and the rest of the class has done an excellent job making them feel welcome. The boys enjoyed the trip to the Toledo Zoo where we enjoyed looking at as many animals as we could, and even got to see the baby elephant. All of the boys are doing great at swimming; they are all becoming more independent in the pool and swimming well with Mr. Jim. We have seen a lot of improvement from each of the boys in the goals and development. J.L is doing great with his sign language and communication goals. S.S. has had great success with learning safety signs. A.S. is doing awesome with multiplication and is about ready to start division. J.B. has done well with learning his body parts. C.F. is doing much better interacting with his peers and participating in activities. A.D. has done well with learning new rules and following directions. We hope to continue this progress and see more success during the winter months. The Orange room also saw many changes in staffing this summer. We were sad to see Ms. Latoyia leave but want to wish her well finishing up her education. We were joined by Ms. Tammy and Ms. Carol who have jumped into the schedule and have encouraged all the boys to work harder.
